the snake beckons you closer with a hiss
she looks down at you with ruby red eyes. you feel at calm near her.
she then hisses "to the left is a river of red. swim through it with caution, or you will be caught."
"to the right is the hills, the safety of the trees will abandon you. you will be watched."
"ahead are the cliffs, the sun sinking below them. you can almost catch a glimpse of tomorrow, but you must keep moving."
a sense of unease rests upon your shoulders. something is behind you. you choose not to look.
you must move.
